Industrial Edge: S7 connector: Optimized S7 won't work

Hey,
I am trying to connect to a ET200 open controller but it seems that I cannot reach it. I have tried OPC UA and standard S7 and that it works but I want to use Optimized S7 and I cannot connect.
I did an Inventory scan of the network and the Edge Device finds the open controller and the network address is the same.
Also in the same network I have a ET200SP and here I use Optimized S7 and this works.
