LOGO! - Communication: Logo Networking

I'm a student in electronics. The place where I'm doing my end of studies, there are 2 LOGOS 12/24VRC.
Everything in the company is already wired. Logo will only serve to control the lighting of the building.
THe problem is, I would like to cut all the building's lighting when a part of it is connected to the first logo and the other part to the second logo. How could I do?

Controlling Building Lighting with LOGO! 12/24VRC

As Siemens Self Support, integrated with SiePortal, here's how you can control building lighting using two LOGO! 12/24VRC units:

You can achieve centralized lighting control by utilizing the LOGO!'s network capabilities (S7 communication). Here's a simplified approach:

  1. Network Configuration: Connect both LOGO! units to the same network. Configure their IP addresses to allow communication.
  2. Shared Flag: Designate a specific network input/output (e.g., VM0) on one LOGO! as the "master switch" for all lighting.
  3. LOGO! Programming:
    • LOGO! 1 (Part 1 Lighting): Program a network output (e.g., VN1) to activate/deactivate lighting connected to it. This output will be controlled by the status of the shared flag (VM0) from LOGO! 2.
    • LOGO! 2 (Part 2 Lighting): Program a network output (e.g., VN2) to control its section of lighting, also linked to the shared flag (VM0).
    • Master Control: On either LOGO!, connect a physical switch or input to control the shared flag (VM0). When activated, this flag will signal *both* LOGO! units to turn off their respective lighting sections.
