Process Instrumentation / Analyzer Systems / Weighing Technology / Valve Positioner / MI Digital Solution: Siwarex U The adjustment command could not be executed

Hello, I'm trying to calibrateSIWAREX U with SIWATOOL U. Follow procedures as per
http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/37733600
manual. But getting message of "Adjustment command could not be executed as distance between adjustment points is too small' (please see attached screenshots). Could you please point out what I've missed? Regards, Samir

SIWAREX U Calibration Issue - Adjustment Points Too Close

Dear Samir,

The error message "Adjustment command could not be executed as distance between adjustment points is too small" indicates that the physical spacing between your load application points during the SIWAREX U calibration with SIWATOOL U is insufficient.

As per the manual SIWAREX U - Calibration with SIWATOOL U, a minimum distance of 20% of the weighing range must exist between the two load points used for calibration.

Please verify the following:

  • Confirm your weighing range is correctly configured in SIWATOOL U.
  • Measure the actual distance between the points where you're applying the test loads.
  • Ensure this distance is at least 20% of the configured weighing range. If not, increase the distance.

If the distance *is* sufficient, double-check the applied load values at each point for accuracy.

For further assistance, please consult the FAQ within the linked manual or open a support request through SiePortal referencing this issue.

Sincerely,
Siemens Self Support
