Logo 8.3 App Connection Issues - "Connection Refused"

Dear Md Mahfuz,

Thank you for the update. The "Connection Refused" error typically indicates a network connectivity problem between your iPhone app and the LOGO! 8.3 (BM 12/24 RCE). Here's a breakdown of potential causes and troubleshooting steps:

  • WiFi Connection: Please confirm you've attempted connection via WiFi as this is the standard method for mobile app connectivity.
  • IP Address Conflicts: Your LOGO! (192.168.1.90) and Router (192.168.1.101) are on the same subnet, which is good. However, ensure no other device on your network is using 192.168.1.90.
  • Firewall/Router Settings: The router might be blocking communication to the LOGO!. Check your router's firewall settings and ensure it allows traffic on port 80 (or the port configured for LOGO! webserver access).
  • LOGO! Web Server: Verify the LOGO! web server is enabled in the LOGO!Soft Comfort software. This is essential for app connectivity.
  • App Permissions: Ensure the LOGO! app has the necessary network permissions on your iPhone.
