We need drive for one pump where very often its happen that its necessary to brake and sometimes the drive recive regenerative energy. So i don't know if its possible with Robicon to regenerate or its better to choose Sinamics?..
Thanks
Best Regards.
René
Dear René,
For a pump application requiring frequent braking and potential regenerative energy feedback, Sinamics drives are generally the better choice compared to Robicon.
Sinamics drives (especially the G120 and G130 series) offer advanced regenerative braking capabilities, including:
Robicon drives, while robust, have limited regenerative braking features. They primarily rely on braking resistors which dissipate energy as heat, rather than returning it to the grid.
