Hello,
As a solution for the previous thread(
Determine the S7 versions in a S7 project
.), I found the file Step7Bas.ver. After opening (wordpad) I can see packages and version numbers, but some appear moren than once, also with different vesions. Can anybody tell me how this file can be usefull to determine the used (last) versions in a project?
Thanks.
Ruben
The Step7Bas.ver file lists all the STEP 7 packages (and their versions) that have been used in a project, not necessarily the last versions currently active. Multiple entries with different versions are expected, reflecting changes over the project's lifecycle.
To determine the last used versions, focus on the highest version number for each package. For example, if you see "STEP 7 Basic V12.0 SP1" and "STEP 7 Basic V13.0 SP1", the project last used V13.0 SP1 of the Basic package.
