SIMATIC Panel: Mp177

Hello everybody!
I got a MP177 mutipanel, and also the step7 projekt file, Wincc flex file, and MP, and a SimaticWinAC MP 2008 Runtime licence.
I do not have experience how can I upload and run thsese projekts on the multipanel.
What is the steps, and in which order what I should follow?
In case a normal touch panel I just should upload the Wincc flexible projet file and not more.
But as I know it is a PLC and HMI together.

Uploading and Running Projects on MP177 MultiPanel

You're right, the MP177 is a combined PLC and HMI, so the process is a bit different than a standard touch panel.

  1. Install WinAC MP 2008: Ensure WinAC MP 2008 is installed on your PC.
  2. Transfer STEP 7 Project: Use STEP 7 to download the project to the MP177's PLC memory. This programs the PLC functionality.
  3. Transfer WinCC Flexible Project: Use WinCC Flexible to download the HMI project to the MP177's HMI memory.
  4. Activate License: Activate the Simatic WinAC MP 2008 Runtime license on the MP177. You'll likely need to transfer the license file.
  5. Download MP file: Download the MP file for the specific configuration.
  6. Start/Run: Power cycle the MP177. It should now run both the PLC and HMI programs.
