Hello Friends
This is a very good FAQ document available from Support to understand , and resolve common faults in SINAMICS DCM ( 6RA80 ) Drives.
Several different ways of performing diagnostics on the SINAMICS DCM 6RA80 are
described in the FAQ. You do not have to read the entire text, only the item relevant to your
problem. This permits you to perform the necessary preliminary investigation, which you can
then discuss with Technical Support
Hope this helps

Regarding your request for a sample configuration file for Sinamics Link communication between multiple drives, and addressing the A50005 alarm on the master drive, here's guidance and resources.
The A50005 alarm ("Communication error with a converter in the Sinamics Link network") typically indicates a problem with the communication between the master drive and one or more slave drives in the Sinamics Link network. Since your P2P field converter setup is working, the basic link functionality is confirmed. The issue likely lies in the Profibus configuration (IF2) and interaction with Sinamics Link (IF1).
Unfortunately, providing a single "example file" is difficult due to project-specific variations. However, these resources will greatly assist you:
Simulink experience, while helpful, may not directly translate to the specific parameterization required within the Sinamics drives. Focus on the configuration parameters within the drive firmware.
If you continue to experience issues, please provide the following information for further assistance:
Dear Customer,
The behavior you're observing with your V90 servo motors in Mode 7 homing is a known issue related to absolute encoder handling and power-cycle behavior. Here's a breakdown and solution:
The V90, by default, doesn't persistently store the absolute encoder position across power cycles without specific configuration. The StatusSensor[1].AbsEncoderOffset is being used as a temporary storage, but it is not designed for permanent retention. The "Axis.Homed" flag resetting is expected, as part of the homing process relies on a fresh start.
You've correctly identified saving RAM to ROM in V Assistant, however, there is a crucial additional setting required:
If the problem persists after enabling "Position is retained after power loss", please provide the complete V Assistant configuration (as a backup file) and the PLC code snippet related to position reading and homing for further analysis.
