Is somebody able to tell me where I can find some informations on a manual for setting trimmers on
User–friendly interface on 6SN1118 0AA11 0AA1.
I can't find anything in the manuals.
I bought a new card 6SN1114 0AA01 0AA0 ( plugged on the interface ) with all the trimmers but the old one and the new one are completely different There are some resistors added, removed, ...
I can't find anything also about this card.
Can you help me please !!
Thanks a lot for your help.
Dear OJ,
Yes, you can order spare parts for the 6SN1145-1BA02-0CA1 E/R module. Based on the attached picture (not visible to me directly, but assuming it’s the main PCB), the part number for the PCB board is likely 6SN1145-1BA02-0CA1 itself.
To confirm and place your order, please use the following resources:
Please have your Siemens account details ready when ordering.
Best regards,
Siemens Self Support
Yes, the manual for the 6SN1118-0AE11-0AA1 control module (SIMATIC RF630R) is available on the SiePortal platform.
You can access it directly via this link.
The manual details the LED indicators and their meanings, as well as the function of the test points located on the front of the module. Specifically, refer to the sections on:
This documentation will provide the information you need to understand the module's status and perform necessary diagnostics.
Dear User,
We understand you're experiencing an issue with your 6SN1145-1BA00-0BA0 module, specifically a lack of +24V on pin 9 and no LED illumination. Your assessment of a potential issue with the internal low voltage inverter (HEF4047 based) is a reasonable starting point.
Unfortunately, detailed schematics for this specific module are not publicly available due to proprietary design considerations. However, here are some troubleshooting tips:
For repair options or to obtain a replacement module, please contact Siemens Support directly through the Siemens Industry Online Support. You may need to submit a repair request or purchase a new unit.

As Siemens Self Support, integrated with SiePortal, I can address your query. Replacing a 6RA2781-6DV57-0AA0 (380V) with a 6RA2781-6GV57-0AA0 (500V) requires careful evaluation.
Direct replacement is generally not recommended without verification. While the core functionality is similar, the 500V version has different insulation and component ratings suitable for the higher voltage.
Key considerations:
Recommendation: Please consult the Siemens Support documentation or contact a qualified Siemens engineer for a compatibility assessment. Provide them with your complete system details for a safe and reliable solution.
Dear Customer,
Yes, the 6SN1118-0NJ01-0AA1 is a valid replacement for the 6SN1118-0NJ00-0AA2. Generally, the newer version supports existing software.
For detailed information, including firmware downloads and manuals, please refer to the SiePortal:
Siemens Industry Support PortalIf you encounter any issues, please open a support request via SiePortal, referencing this component replacement.

Good Morning Lucas,
You are encountering an FB15 error due to a version mismatch between the existing (04.04.38) and new (05.03.18) PCMCIA flash cards. Using Sinucopy FFS to revert to the older 04.04.38 version is the correct approach to resolve this compatibility issue.
Version 05.05.38 is indeed intended for newer card types and may not be compatible with your current setup. For your NCU 6FC5357-0BB22-0AE0, sticking with the 04.04.38 version is recommended.
Refer to the following for Sinucopy FFS usage and further details:
If issues persist after the version downgrade, please provide more details about the exact CNC model for tailored assistance.
Sincerely,
Siemens Self Support
Dear Andy,
You are right, the documentation for the 611 Analog Drive is limited. Siemens understands the challenges with troubleshooting these older, yet still widely used, drives.
While formal detailed troubleshooting guides aren't readily available, here are some resources and approaches:
Regarding Fault Code Causes: Focus on the specific fault code and consider these general areas:
While checking wiring is a basic step, understanding the *potential causes* beyond simple wiring faults is key. Provide the specific fault code you're encountering in the SiePortal forum for more targeted assistance.
Sincerely,
Siemens Self Support
The incident with your plasma machine highlights the need for robust mechanical protection, beyond just overload detection. While the 611U didn't trip on overload, mechanical issues can cause stresses the drive doesn't 'see' electrically.
Mechanical protection (guards, limit switches) is paramount. Review your machine's safety assessment. Consider a Safe Limited Speed function (if supported by your safety module) to restrict speed even during faults.
For detailed parameter explanations, refer to the SINAMICS 611U documentation on Siemens Support. Search for "SINAMICS 611U Parameter List".
You're right to suspect the cable. While a USB/RS232 adapter can work, the SIMODRIVE 611 communication is often sensitive to the cable type and adapter compatibility. SimoComU requires a specific cable configuration.
Cable Requirement: You need a null-modem cable (cross-over cable) specifically wired for SINUMERIK/SIMODRIVE communication. Standard null-modem cables may not work.
Important Notes:
Further Support: Please refer to SiePortal FAQ SIMODRIVE 611 Communication via USB for detailed information and troubleshooting steps.
If issues persist, consider testing with a known-good, Siemens-recommended cable and potentially contacting Siemens Support directly with your adapter details for compatibility confirmation.
It appears you're facing challenges finding documentation for trimmer adjustments on your 6SN1118-0AA11-0AA1 interface card, especially concerning the newer 6SN1114-0AA01-0AA0 card.
Unfortunately, detailed trimmer adjustment procedures are often not publicly released due to being specific to the application and requiring specialized training. However, here's how to proceed:
Important: Incorrect trimmer adjustments can negatively impact performance and potentially damage the hardware. Always consult with qualified Siemens personnel before making any adjustments.
