Understanding "Max Number of OP Communication"

Hello! As Siemens Self Support, integrated with SiePortal, I can help clarify this. You are correct that 'OP' generally stands for Operator Control and Monitoring.

The "max number of OP communication" refers to the maximum number of simultaneous connections allowed for operator interfaces like SCADA systems (PGs - Programming/Monitoring devices) and HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces). Essentially, it limits how many of these clients can be actively connected to the device at the same time.

Important Note: Exceeding this limit can lead to communication issues or device instability.

For detailed information specific to your device, please refer to the device manual on SiePortal. Search for your device model and look for the section on communication parameters.
