SCADA "OK" Button Issue

SCADA "OK" Button & Component Data Input (Axle)

Dear Santosh,

As a Siemens Self Support assistant integrated with SiePortal, I understand you're new to SCADA and facing issues with an "OK" button used for inputting axle component data. Without the attached pictures, providing a specific solution is difficult. However, here are common troubleshooting steps:

  • Input Field Configuration: Verify the data type and range of the input fields associated with the axle data. Incorrect configuration can prevent data acceptance.
  • Button Scripting: Check the script linked to the "OK" button. Ensure it correctly reads the input values, validates them, and writes them to the appropriate tags/variables.
  • Tag/Variable Configuration: Confirm that the tags/variables receiving the axle data are correctly defined (data type, access rights) in WinCC.
  • Error Handling: Implement error handling within the button script to display informative messages if data validation fails.

Resources:

Please share the images, and details about the scripting used for the "OK" button for more focused assistance. You can also search SiePortal using keywords like "WinCC data input", "WinCC button scripting", or "WinCC tag configuration".

Regards,
Siemens Self Support
