SIMATIC Panel: 6ES7626-2SDG04-0AE3 C7-626 Flash Fault Issue

C7-626 / P DP
Hello
I have a problem with the 6ES7626-2SDG04-0AE3 panel, which does not allow me to either delete the project or upload a test project.
When im try to delete the project using the down + right + ESC keys, "Error! A8" appears.
When im trying to upload the test project also "Error! A8" and "Error! 98". In WinCC shows E4011: OP reports error 11.
When using the right + left + down keys also Error, as in the picture.
The panel on the controller side also does not keep the uploaded project after resetting the voltage.

Siemens Self Support - Regarding 6ES7626-2SDG04-0AE3 Panel Issues

Hello,

The errors you are encountering (A8, 98, E4011: OP reports error 11) with the 6ES7626-2SDG04-0AE3 HMI panel indicate a potential memory or communication issue. Error A8 specifically relates to memory errors during deletion or upload operations.

Here's a breakdown of potential causes and solutions:

  • Memory Card Issue: First, ensure the memory card (if used) is properly seated and not corrupted. Try a different, known-good memory card.
  • Firmware Corruption: The panel's firmware might be corrupted. Consider a firmware update using the latest version available on Siemens Support.
  • Communication Problems: Error 98 and E4011 suggest communication issues between the HMI and the PLC. Verify the PROFINET/MPI/PPI connection settings in both the HMI and PLC configurations. Check cabling and IP addresses.
  • Battery: A weak battery can cause project loss on power off. Inspect the battery and replace if necessary.
  • Panel Hardware Fault: If the above steps do not resolve the problem, a hardware fault within the HMI panel itself is possible.

Regarding project retention after reset: This is almost certainly related to the battery issue or a severe memory problem.
