Meet & Talk: Easter 2020

Hello all;
I wish to all my friends here my best wishes for Easter Sunday, especially good health to you and your loved ones.
This year everything is very different, every joyous tradition is either cancelled or delayed. No church ceremonies, no family visits, no special dinners, no egg hunts for laughing children.
But remember that we are not alone suffering such tribulstions: Hajj might be cancelled altogether this year, Saudi Arabia is asking all Muslims to cancel their travel plans for the moment. My Jewish neighbors are sad because they feel the govenment-imposed confinement is impeding their Purim festivities.
We are all in this together, and we will (most if us, with any luck) get through this together. Let us give thanks to all those who are putting their lives on the line for us all, in hospitals and ambulances, in pharmacies and food stores, on cleaning and cooking details.
Until next Easter, stay safe!

A Message of Hope & Solidarity

Dear Friends,

Wishing you all a peaceful Easter Sunday filled with hope, and especially good health to you and your families. This year's circumstances are undeniably different, with many cherished traditions disrupted.

It's important to remember we share these challenges – from cancelled religious observances like Hajj and Purim, to the overall impact of current events. We are united in this, and with luck, will overcome it together.

Let's express gratitude for the frontline heroes – healthcare workers, pharmacy staff, food providers, and all essential personnel – who are diligently serving our communities.

Stay safe until next Easter!

Sincerely,
Daniel Chartier
