WinCC Unified Systems: Template popup are selfresizing

Hi,
I have a problem with my faceplate opened as popup : It is autoresizing.
I have tried to set windowFlags to 255 and changing Width and Heigth by code or manually in the runtime but it return to a size that is 110 or 120% of the faceplate size (not exactly mesured percantage). And each time I modify the popup size, I can see, with lags, that the size is first set to the value i want but then return to this strange size.
I work with TIA V18 on Unified HMI
Does somebody know why the popup is autoresizing and how to solve it.
best regards.

Popup Faceplate Autosizing Issue in Unified HMI (TIA V18)

This issue with popup faceplates autoresizing to approximately 110-120% of their intended size in Unified HMI with TIA V18 is a known behavior.

Cause: The Unified HMI framework automatically adjusts the popup size to ensure content visibility, especially regarding text scaling and screen resolution. This overrides manual size settings and windowFlags.

Solution/Workaround:

  1. Disable Automatic Scaling: Within the HMI project settings, review and disable any global automatic scaling options that might influence popup behavior.
  2. Content Adaptation: Design your faceplate content to be responsive within a reasonable size range to minimize the impact of the autosizing.
  3. Consider Alternative Approaches: If precise sizing is critical, evaluate whether embedding the faceplate directly into the screen layout, instead of using a popup, would be a more suitable solution.
