SIMATIC WinCC: Web client 6.1 Sp1 Issue

Hi,
I published my WINCC V6.0SP4 project and I can see that I have many errors in the published pictures.
The problem is about the files *.h which I can’t see in the webnavigator path of my wincc project.
How can I publish the ".h files" ???
Thank you in advance.

Regarding Missing .h Files After WINCC V6.0SP4 Publication

Hello,

The .h files (header files) are typically not published directly through the standard WINCC web publication process. They are primarily used during the engineering phase for compiling the graphic objects. They are not required for the runtime operation of the HMI in the web browser.

The error you're seeing in published pictures likely stems from graphic objects referencing elements that depend on these header files, but the runtime environment doesn't need them. To resolve this:

  • Recompile Graphics: Ensure all your graphics are compiled *after* any changes to libraries or global script files.
  • Check Dependencies: Review the properties of the graphic objects causing errors. Verify they are not directly referencing paths or components expecting the .h files to exist in the web publication.
  • Web Client Configuration: Ensure the Web Client is configured correctly.

For detailed guidance, please refer to the SiePortal FAQ: WINCC Web Navigator: Missing .h Files

If the problem persists, please open a support request via SiePortal providing details about the specific error messages and the affected graphics.

Sincerely,
Siemens Self Support
