Hi Interlogis,
Is it for s7 1200/1500 or s7 300/400?
I use s7 300. So, some instruction and datatype are not support.
How can i use for s7 300?
Thanks,
Khang.

Hello Khang,
You are correct to point out the limitations when using instructions designed for S7-1200/1500 with an S7-300 PLC. The DATE_AN_TIME instruction is primarily intended for newer Siemens controllers.
For S7-300, you'll need to use a combination of other instructions and potentially some programming logic to achieve the same result. Here's a suggested approach:
RD_DATE and RD_TIME to read the current date and time into separate variables.STRING_CONV instruction (or similar string manipulation blocks) along with data conversion functions (e.g., converting integer representations of date/time components to characters) to build the desired string format. You'll likely need to manually format the string.Important Resources:
Please note that manual string formatting on the S7-300 can be more complex than using the dedicated DATE_AN_TIME instruction on newer PLCs.
Sincerely,
