Industrial Edge: Iem Helm Chart

I see that the IEM is a Kubernetes Cluster wrapped in an ISO and I hate running virtualization software just to run the cluster. Can we get the IEM delivered in ways other than virtual machine?
Also does Siemens have bug bounties? I was able to defeat the OS feature that ensures that no unexpected programs are running on bootup while adding a program that I wanted into the IEM so that I could use a software defined network to allow me to deploy the IEM remotely from the IEDS. Works fine but I imagine you don't want this exploit hanging around.

IEM Deployment Options & Security Disclosure

You are correct that the Industrial Edge Management (IEM) is currently delivered as a virtual machine (VM) image, effectively a Kubernetes cluster within an ISO. We understand the desire to avoid virtualization overhead.

Currently, Siemens does not offer a bare-metal deployment option for IEM. However, we are actively evaluating alternative deployment methods based on customer feedback like yours. Keep an eye on the Siemens Industrial Edge support page for updates on future deployment options.

Security Vulnerability Disclosure

Thank you for responsibly disclosing the security vulnerability you discovered regarding the boot-up security feature. This is critical information. Please do not publicly disclose the details of the exploit.

Siemens has a Vulnerability Disclosure Program. Please report the vulnerability, along with as much detail as possible, directly through this program. Our security team will investigate and work towards a resolution.

Regarding bug bounties, Siemens does offer rewards for valid vulnerability submissions. Details regarding the program, eligibility, and reward amounts are available on the Vulnerability Disclosure Program page. We appreciate your contribution to improving the security of our products.
