RTX Initialization Failure - System Platform Issue

The error "RTX does not support this system platform (RTSS initilization failure)" typically occurs when the hardware platform has changed, and the RTX runtime system is not compatible with the new motherboard.

Here's a breakdown and potential solutions:

  1. RTX License: Ensure your RTX license is still valid and correctly installed on the new system.
  2. RTX Version: Verify the RTX version is compatible with both the original and the new hardware. An update might be necessary.
  3. RTSS Driver: Reinstall the RTSS driver. Sometimes, a fresh installation resolves initialization issues. You can find the latest drivers on SiePortal.
  4. BIOS Settings: Check your motherboard's BIOS settings for any configurations that might interfere with real-time operation (e.g., virtualization, power-saving features). Disable them temporarily for testing.
  5. Hardware Compatibility: Confirm the new motherboard meets the minimum hardware requirements for your RTX version.

For detailed troubleshooting and FAQs, please refer to the Siemens Support article: RTX does not support this system platform

If the problem persists, please gather detailed hardware information (motherboard model, CPU, etc.) and open a support request via Siemens Support.
