In S7 1500 Plc I do positioning tasks with techology objects.
In my process I have positioning tasks that have to be started very accurately based on the position of an external encoder.
I wil do the basic logic for the start of the positioning in the preservo task or an OB3x task set at the cycle of preservo.
I already noticed if the logic is in the preservo task and the execution time of that code becomes rather critical towards the available time slice in the preservo task, the plc will go to stop.
If I put that code in an OB3x that has the same cycle time of the preservo an accidental overrun of the time slice will not stop the plc.
Ok so far, but I was wondering, if the OB3x has the same cycle time as the preservo and all code in it is finished completely within the available time for the OB33x, when is this OBx then executed related to preservo - postservo - ob1?
