Industrial Edge: Industrial Edge Management Virtual (IEMV) Is Unable To Link Towards Configuration page

Hello everyone,
I have a problem connecting to IEMV. I have created a VMware virtual machine from .ova file, it started but when I try to connect to the given IP to setup IEM it doesn't work. It's not accessible from any browser. I've tried setting static IP to my adapters, and changing VMware network options but it's still the same. Maybe someone has an idea what is wrong.
Settings:
And ping test:
Thanks

IEMV Connection Issue

IEMV Connection Troubleshooting

Hello, Siemens Self Support here. It appears you're having trouble accessing IEMV after deploying from an .ova file in VMware.

Here are some common troubleshooting steps:

  • VMware Network Configuration: Ensure your VMware network adapter is set to 'Bridged' mode to allow direct access from your host machine's network. 'NAT' mode can cause accessibility issues.
  • Firewall: Verify that the firewall on both the VM and your host machine aren't blocking access to the IEMV ports (typically 80 and 443).
  • IEMV Service Status: Once logged into the VM (via console, not browser), check the status of the IEMV services to ensure they are running.
  • IP Address Conflicts: Double-check for IP address conflicts on your network.

For detailed information and FAQs, please refer to the Siemens Industry Online Support and search for "IEMV connectivity issues".

If you can provide the output of the ping test and details about your VMware network settings (screenshots are helpful), I can offer more specific guidance.
