I had communication fault(flashing C) on one of the PM4 processors, this fault is unpredictable and I causes a long downtime everytime it appears. The communication loss happens between the master simadyn (data manager) and the technological simadyn. This communication is being carried out through CS22 fibre-optic rack coupling module. after rebooting the rack everything becomes normal and healthy.
Could you please advise me how to find the root cause of this problem?
Another issue is that the alarm for this communication fault appears and disappears immediately, leaving the faulty processor undetected until someone sees it.
I want to know how the alarm and message system is linked to WinCC messages, what is the configuration program, i heard about Meld and Komed, but i've never seen them.
If anybody can provide information or documents about these programs i would really appreciate that!
