Hi,
I have a problem with our 11kV switch gear. I wanted to energise a transformer in the morning by doing the following:
1.0 I de-earthed the feeder cable by operating the lever for the earthing switch.
2.0 I racked in the Circuit Breaker but I failed to remove the double-bit key the Breaker Cabinet.
3.0 I suspected that the earthing switch might have not been properly opened so I closed it but I have failed to open it.
4.0 In the process the lever for earthing switch twisted and it is somehow bend.
5.0 I am suspecting the bent lever is causing the problem of not de-earthing the feeder cable because even other earth switches cannot be opened. Unfortunately I just have one lever for the earthing switch.
The switch gear type is 3AH5 Circuit Breakers made by Siemens.
I am trying to straighten the lever and see what happens.
