We are doing a project with 3 modbus plc's , the beckhoff plc is our modbus master ,the wago and phoenix contact plc's are modbus slave's. Now we got a HMI (OP 177B PN/DP), we need to read/write the variabels on the touchscreen. I was able to set the modbus communication but the problem is i can only read the status of my plc values ,when i try to write to the plc values i always get a error. I did connect the HMI on the beckhoff plc (modbus master). Is it possible to read/write from a master or i need to find another solution for it?
