Communication / Networks: Windows control center Abb Pm851 Programmable logic controller

Hi All,
I have a bit of a problem.
Our customer requested a rather odd mixture of components.
We were asked to use a WinCC HMI and an ABB PLC.
We decided to use a 10"MP277 Touch Panel as the HMI
For the PLC we decided on a PM851 Processor, and a CI854 Profibus communication card.
The CI854 is alreadybeing used to communicate to the customer's plant network. (Edit: This is an AC800M Series PLC)
When the components were selected, the spec sheets showed a number of communication protocols that we thought we could use.
Both machines support Profibus, ModBus TCP and OPC.
However, it appears that WinCC does not want to play along.
If I select ModBus TCP on WinCC i can only select Modicon PLC's. That is not very helpful.
Question 1
: Is there a way to import other PLC types into WinCC, or "generic" types?
If I select OPC on WinCC, i can only act as a client, and the ABB also only acts as a client as far as i know.
ABB did supply me with OPC Server software, but it appears this may only run ona separate PC?
Question 2
: Does anyone know if I can somehow install OPC Server on the PLC itself?
If I select Profibus ( Simatic S5 DP or Simatic 500/505 DP) I can select inputs from the I*, Q*, F* or DB areas.
Question 3
: Is this referring to the hardwired I, Q cards in the PLC? Or is it reading from the input and output areas that were defined in the PLC using the WinCC Simatic S5 DP GSD file? I have installed the Simatic S5 DP .GSD file in my ABB user program. (Si018070.GSD)
Note, I have all the components to connect everything, I just haven't had a chance to wire it all up to test. I'm just looking for opinions on if I need to change out my HMI hardware...
Edit: The HMI is required to be used as a simple operator panel, (Some buttons and digital indicators) and for displaying alarms. There may be some integer values being passed back and forth, but this should be minimal.
Thanks for your help!
