Hello,
I am currently on a project where I need to communicate between my PLC (s7-315 2 pn/dp + CP343-1 lean; firmware v3.0) and a software.
This software is used to manage industrial printers. It has a specific "protocol"; I need to program my PLC according this protocol. I have to use TCP socket communication.
This protocol is based on data exchanged. The minimum size of a packet is 276 bytes.
I do use AG_Send and AG_Receive blocks.
I have analyzed the datapacket thanks to the software "Wireshark". I can see that the CP splits the datapacket in two packets; and the first packet has always a size of 240bytes.
Problem : the software that manages the printer does not accept "splitted packet"; so I need to be able to send a packet of min. 276 bytes...to +/- max 500 bytes.
I will also receive packets from the same size; but for now I just try to send it correctly :-)
Does anybody have experience with this problem?
Many thanks!
